Dearborn Heights - Orthodontics

Dr. Nicole Teifer, "Dr. Nicole," is a former two-time State Champion Cheerleader from Carlson High School in Gibraltar. She received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 1999. Dr. Nicole received a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry. She completed an orthodontics residency at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Denver. Dr. Nicole practiced orthodontics for several years in Phoenix, Arizona and throughout California before returning home in the summer of 2010 to be closer to family and friends.

Dr. Nicole is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Michigan Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the Detroit District Dental Society. Dr. Nicole received her Invisalign certification in 2006. During her dental training, she received the Detroit District Dental Society's Award for Excellence in Patient Care. Dr. Nicole has also received the Delta Dental Leadership Award, the University of Detroit-Mercy's Spirit Award in 2006, the Vedder Award for Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics and is Board Eligible with the American Board of Orthodontics.

While away from the office, Dr. Nicole enjoys judging high school cheerleading competitions and taking her two Westie dogs (Spike and Lily) for walks in the park.
