DETROIT, Mich. – March 5, 2013 – Great Expressions Dental Centers (GEDC), a leading dental service organization with affiliated dental offices in nine states, announced today the opening of their new Midtown Detroit office at 3670 Woodward Avenue, Suite 101B located next to Starbucks. To celebrate the new GEDC Midtown location, the company is hosting a grand opening on March 20 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The new office offers a full spectrum of dental services for area residents, students and professionals, including general, preventive, diagnostic, restorative, whitening, veneers and cosmetic. The office is comprised of more than a dozen doctors, hygienists and support professionals.
“We’re happy to become part of the growing Midtown area and to bring our full-service, high quality dental care to the neighborhood,” said Richard Beckman, CEO of Great Expressions Dental Centers. “Those living and working in and around Midtown deserve a conveniently located dental option that is going to provide the services they need and the quality of care and customer service they expect.”
At the grand opening, GEDC will present the University of Detroit Mercy’s School of Dentistry with a donation of $25,000. The donation helps the UDM School of Dentistry promote dental education and makes that education more affordable. In addition, the community will be able to meet GEDC medical and support staff; receive additional information about the office and services; receive oral health aides such as toothbrushes, floss and lip balm; enjoy free food and beverages provided by Lunchtime Detroit; and enter to win an iPad mini, among other prizes.
