The benefits of seeing a children’s dentist as soon as their first tooth arrives cannot be overstated. It is recommended that a child’s first visit to the dentist take place when the first tooth erupts in the mouth and no later than age 1 to 2, according to the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Since decay in baby teeth increases the risk of decay in permanent teeth, it is paramount to start your son or daughter off on the right path with respect to dental health and hygiene.
The Great Expressions Tooth Team, led by Mighty Molar, is always around to help kids prepare for a trip to the dentist, with plenty of everyday tips and tricks to keep brushing and flossing fun.
