Your child’s oral health begins at an early age, and we understand that a visit to the dentist may seem unnecessary. While your child’s first trip to the dentist should happen as soon as their first tooth appears, an initial visit doesn’t mean treatment. Our Great Expressions dentist will simply check to see that your baby’s teeth are growing and developing the way they should. From then on, plan on regular visits every six months or so, if your dentist recommends it.

Our pedodontists at Great Expressions; specialize in the dental development of primary teeth and permanent teeth, and as they get older, wisdom teeth extractions and braces. From baby teeth to braces and beyond, children’s dentistry focuses on a wide spectrum of conditions affecting dental development in youth. With access anytime, anywhere, we offer all the children’s dentistry services you need under one network, so you can plan developmental treatment plans that foster a healthy lifestyle and provide the level of dental care your child needs.

Our team of pediatric dental professionals is here to help ease your child into their first dental experience, and give you peace of mind about your child’s long-term oral health amid your hectic schedule. We specialize in providing a warm environment to care for infants and children. From regular checkups to dental emergencies, we help protect the smiles of our younger patients, so you and your kids can be your own kind of great.

The benefits of seeing a children’s dentist as soon as their first tooth arrives cannot be overstated. It is recommended that a child’s first visit to the dentist take place when the first tooth erupts in the mouth and no later than age 1 to 2, according to the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Since decay in baby teeth increases the risk of decay in permanent teeth, it is paramount to start your son or daughter off on the right path with respect to dental health and hygiene.

The Great Expressions Tooth Team, led by Mighty Molar, is always around to help kids prepare for a trip to the dentist, with plenty of everyday tips and tricks to keep brushing and flossing fun. We’re always there for you in an emergency, as well. Whether it’s a toothache, objects trapped between the teeth, or chipped, broken, or lost teeth, our children’s dentists are here to help.
