Great Expressions Doctors and Staff Provide Free Services to Atlanta Area Residents

ATLANTA – December 8, 2015 – Twenty doctors and staff from Great Expressions Dental Centers (GEDC), a leading dental service organization with more than 50 offices in the Atlanta area, volunteered today at Team Smile Atlanta, which provides underserved children in need with dental services and tips.

The effort reflects an ongoing commitment on behalf of GEDC to giving back to the community. GEDC is currently in its second year of the Atlanta-based Dental Deputies campaign, an effort it developed to aid domestic violence victims in crisis.

“Great Expressions Dental Centers has a longstanding commitment to provide dental services and care for those who often can’t afford it under traditional dental insurance options,” said Richard Beckman, chief executive officer of Great Expressions Dental Centers. “We’re pleased to do our part to support Team Smile Atlanta and the tremendous effort to promote good oral hygiene, which can be the gateway to overall health and wellness.”

In addition to its efforts surrounding Team Smile Atlanta and the Dental Deputies campaign, GEDC also hosts an annual fundraiser on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in which five percent of the company’s revenue generated that day is donated to local charities. In 2015, the organization donated nearly $45,000 through this initiative.
