Great Expressions Operations Director Recognized as Crain’s Detroit Business ‘Notable Women in Health’

(June 18, 2018) – Kristen Mandich, Operations Director for Great Expressions Dental Centers (GEDC), has been recognized as a ‘Notable Women in Health’ by Crain’s Detroit Business. Mandich is among 35 women chosen in the fourth annual ‘Notable Women’ report published in the June 18 issue of Crain’s.

Crain’s Content Studio, the marketing storytelling division of Crain’s Detroit Business, is recognizing women in health care who have gone above and beyond in the industry. Women profiled in the report are considered leaders in their workplaces and in the community.

In her role with GEDC, Mandich oversees 12 dental offices in Northwest Michigan, managing administrators and revenue, conducting financial reviews, and monitoring new patient cycles at each office. Her hands-on, hardworking management style allows her to administer support to her team in a respected, comfortable way, pushing them to the best of their ability.

As an operational director, Mandich places emphasis on proper employee training and customer satisfaction, and works day-to-day operations with the offices to ensure fulfillment of job roles. Through her leadership, Mandich has improved GEDC’s customer satisfaction rating on Google for the Northwest Michigan offices from 3.4 to 4.4 – a substantial improvement.

Mandich earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science/Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Saginaw Valley University.
