Top Performing Doctors Honored at Fourth Annual “Top Gun” Awards Ceremony

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. – May 19, 2014 – Great Expressions Dental Centers (GEDC), a leading dental service organization, recently honored their top-performing dentists at their fourth annual “Top Gun” awards. Nearly 100 GEDC doctors and clinical partners were honored for their superior performance, providing care and leadership over the past year. The award ceremony was held in Miami at The Fontainebleau Miami Beach on May 2.

The “Top Gun” ceremony honors top-performing doctors based on patient care, dedication to mentorship programs and philanthropic efforts. GEDC honored all doctors who attended including special recognition for Dr. Joanna Magazine (Pinellas Park, Florida) who received the Best Aesthetic Case for the second year in a row; Dr. Luis Torres and Dr. Catalina Carrillo (Miami, Florida) who received Best Multi Discipline Restorative Case; and Dr. Sarah Wentzel (Livonia, Michigan) who received Best Orthodontic Case.

In addition, Dr. Marc Etienne (Atlanta, Georgia) received the Humanitarian Award for his dental mission to Haiti. Dr. Etienne, a native of Haiti, gathered a GEDC clinical team for a five day trip to his homeland. During their trip, they traveled to three different cities and provided Haitian residents with extensive clinical care, oral hygiene products and educated residents on the importance of proper oral health.
